Yes, you can transfer your license to anyone in your team by unregistering your PC and then sharing your product key with the other person. A license can be used by one computer at any moment.

What are the features of the plugin?
Our plugin exports parts into dxf format. These parts could be in a drawing or assembly or a part document. They do not have to be modeled with SOLIDWORKS sheet-metal, if they are suitable for laser-cut our program will export them. It allows you to writes specific information about the part _ i.e; meta data_ into the dxf file. It makes sure the side with highest up-bends is facing upwards. And lets you control the layers in the dxf file.

Do I need AutoCAD on my PC to use this plugin?
No, our plugin does not rely on AutoCAD or DraftSight to generate the DXF files. It only needs SOLIDWORKS. But to open the generated DXF files you would need a software like AutoCAD.

Our workstations might not be connected to Internet all the times. Can I still access the application?
Yes you can. We only required Internet connection during Install, Un-install and once every ninety (90) days to refresh the license file.

Do you provide any discounts for students?
Yes, CADSHIFT is free for Students. Our software will know if you have a student license of SOLIDWORKS and will not ask for a product key at the end of the trial period.
