End User License Agreement

& Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By installing or using CADshift for Autodesk® Inventor® (the “Software”), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement (the “Agreement”) between you and HYMMA Pty Ltd (“HYMMA”, “Company”, “we”, “us”). If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Software. CADshift is an independent product of HYMMA and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Autodesk, Inc. Autodesk and Inventor are trademarks of Autodesk, Inc.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, HYMMA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Install and use the Software on computers where you have a valid license;
  • Use the Software solely for your internal business or personal purposes;
  • Make backup copies of the Software for archival purposes.

3. License Restrictions

You may NOT:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the Software except as expressly permitted;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software;
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the Software;
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels;
  • Use the Software to develop competing products;
  • Circumvent any licensing mechanisms or restrictions.

4. Subscription & Trial

4.1 Free tier & trial

The Software includes a free tier and a time-limited free trial of the premium tiers. After the trial expires, a valid subscription is required for continued use of premium features. The free tier remains available without a subscription.

4.2 Subscription

Subscriptions are billed according to the plan you select. You may manage your subscription through the Software or at cadshift.com.

4.3 Termination

We may terminate your license if you breach this Agreement. Upon termination you must uninstall and destroy all copies of the Software.

5. Data Collection & Privacy

Important: please read this section carefully.

5.1 What we collect

To improve the Software and develop intelligent features, we collect anonymous usage telemetry, which may include:

  • Document types you work with (Part, Assembly, Drawing, Presentation);
  • CADshift features and commands you use (e.g. the Command Palette, Document Switcher, Document Groups);
  • Autodesk Inventor commands and environments you use;
  • Sequence of operations in your workflow;
  • Software, add-in, and Autodesk Inventor version information;
  • Your license tier;
  • Error and crash reports.

5.2 What we do NOT collect

We respect your intellectual property. We never collect:

  • File names, file paths, or folder names;
  • Actual geometry, dimensions, or coordinates;
  • Part numbers, descriptions, iProperties, or custom properties;
  • Screenshots or visual representations of your models;
  • Personal information beyond your license identifier;
  • Any data that could identify your designs or projects.

5.3 Purpose of collection

This data is used to:

  • Identify common workflows and improve the user experience;
  • Diagnose and fix bugs and performance issues;
  • Develop new features based on real usage patterns;
  • Train models that provide intelligent workflow suggestions.

5.4 Review your data

You can review the events the add-in records on your own machine before they are sent. CADshift writes its telemetry to the Windows Event Log: open Event Viewer, expand Windows Logs → Application, and filter by the CADshift source. The entries are human-readable.

5.5 Data transmission

Telemetry is uploaded periodically in batches by a background service when your computer has an internet connection. All data is transmitted securely over HTTPS.

5.6 Data retention

Telemetry is retained for up to 24 months for analysis and product improvement, after which it is deleted or permanently anonymized.

5.7 Data security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.

5.8 Automatic updates

A background service may periodically check for, download, and install updates to the Software. Each update is verified against a checksum published by HYMMA before it is applied. You may disable automatic updates in the Software's settings.

6. Intellectual Property

The Software and all copies thereof are proprietary to HYMMA and title remains with HYMMA. All rights in the Software not specifically granted in this Agreement are reserved to HYMMA. The Software is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. HYMMA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

8. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL HYMMA BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (a) your use of or inability to use the Software; (b) any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data; or (c) any other matter relating to the Software. Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold HYMMA harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Software or your breach of this Agreement.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

11. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notified through the Software. Continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

12. Contact

Questions about this Agreement or your data can be sent to [email protected]. HYMMA Pty Ltd, Australia.
